Avoid scams
Avoiding being ripped off by reading  this before contacting sellers.

For high value - or preferably any - items make sure you meet the person selling. This will help you avoid most online scammers. Never ever ever ever send or part with money without actually seeing and touching the thing you are buying and the person you are buying from. All the normal rules apply here. Always make sure the person selling is the owner.

Don't accept bankers drafts etc, these can be faked.

For The Right Price is not in any way involved in any financial transaction between you and the seller. We don't handle payments, we don't guarantee payments and we don't offer buyer protection. We exist purely to allow sellers to advertise and buyers to make contact.

Don't EVER give out financial information to sellers - bank account numbers, PayPal info, etc.

If you suspect a scam attempt contact us ASAP.

Recognising a scam

Most scams involve one or more of the following:

An enquiry from someone far away, often in another country
Western Union, Money Gram, cashier's check, money order, shipping, escrow service, or a "guarantee"
An inability or refusal to meet face-to-face before carrying out the  transaction
